TCC Sponsors the Life is Good Kid’s Foundation

On July 24, 2017, The Chemical Company sponsored the fifth annual Play Fore Playmakers charity golf tournament, benefitting the Life is Good Kid’s Foundation. The tournament was held at Sterling National Country Club in Sterling, MA, and featured a full field of 144 golfers. Teeing off at 9am, the tournament featured a best ball format, and various events and prize opportunities spread across the 18-hole course.

Hole 1, for example, featured a professional long-drive champion, whose tee shot the group could use with a monetary donation to the foundation. While the average golfer may expect a tee shot of 250+ yards (on a good day), the champion’s shot easily can reach 400 yards are more, offering a substantial benefit.

On hole 12, golfers could utilize a handheld air cannon (shown below), which could place a ball within 30 feet of the pin, from a distance of 375 yards. cannon e1500990282812 - The Chemical Company

Aside from golf, a silent auction offered over 25 donated items to be bid on, with all proceeds benefitting the foundation.

The Life is Good Kid’s Foundation provides a variety of personal and professional development resources, which help childcare professionals “tap into the power of optimism and build healing, life-changing relationships with children under their care”.

The Chemical Company is proud to sponsor and participate in a great cause, and a better organization. For more information about the Play Fore Playmakers golf tournament, or the Life is Good Kid’s Foundation, click the logos below.
