Now overshadowed by questions of the legality of Trum’s sweeping tariffs, early trade deals have begun flowing out of the White House in recent weeks, including announcements with the UK and China, as the world works to understand what President Trump is seeking as a part of these negotiations. Notably, some level of tariffs have remained in the current deal announcements. Global trading partners now wait for ongoing and additional announcements of trade deals, and work to understand and digest what the impacts to tariffs and costs of importing may be.
