U.S. House of Representatives Passes Miscellaneous Tariff Bill

Earlier in January, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 4318, known as the Miscellaneous Tariff Bill Act aimed to eliminate $1.1 billion in import tariffs over the next three years, while in parallel boosting U.S. manufacturing output by more than $3 billion.

The bill mentions over 1,700 products, some that may impact either the raw materials or finished goods side of the chemical distribution market over time. To read the full text of the bill, click here.
