Plastics Fast Track to a Green Future

A recent article by the Independent Commodity Intelligence Services (ICIS) states that President Biden has committed to cutting US greenhouse gas emissions in half by 2030, putting America on the fast track for a greener future. ICIS notes that the plastics industry, in particular, is going to face pressure from two directions to move quickly to using recycled plastic as a feedstock as there is a mounting pressure from consumers and brand owners to tackle the problems caused by plastic waste.
